I’ve loved jewelry for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of sitting with my grandmother, exploring her jewelry box piece by piece. What began as childhood fascination quietly grew into a lifelong appreciation for fine craftsmanship, meaningful design, and the stories our jewelry carries.

I didn’t always know this passion would become my career. In 2019, after moving to Raleigh, I applied to a local jewelry store on a whim—and was hired just days later. That unexpected step changed everything. I quickly discovered how much I loved meeting couples, listening to their stories, and guiding them toward a piece that marked one of the most important chapters of their lives.

Over the next several years, I continued growing in the industry while earning my Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) designation from GIA. I’m grateful for that foundation, but I felt called to provide something more personal—an experience rooted in trust, transparency, and genuine connection. I wanted to offer elevated quality without the traditional retail markup, and to give clients the care and attention their moments deserved.

That vision became The Carat Menagerie.

Today, through private diamond concierge services, I help clients cut through the overwhelm of research and sourcing, securing the perfect diamond and setting at a better value. I work closely with a trusted U.S.-based workshop to ensure exceptional craftsmanship, bringing each client’s vision to life with precision and heart.

Above all, I am honored to play a small part in life’s most meaningful milestones—and to create a jewelry experience that feels effortless, thoughtful, and truly personal.
