I fell in love with jewelry via my grandma’s jewelry box, got my GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) in 2019, and launched The Carat Menagerie to cultivate an entirely effortless, private concierge experience that cuts out retail markups to focus on legacy.

I’ve loved jewelry for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of sitting beside my grandmother, carefully exploring her jewelry box piece by piece. Each ring, bracelet, and necklace felt like it held a story: a moment, a memory, a person. What began as childhood fascination quietly grew into a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship, sentiment, and the meaning jewelry carries through generations.

I didn’t always know this passion would become my career. In 2019, after moving to Raleigh, I applied to a local jewelry store on a whim and was hired just days later. That unexpected step changed everything. I quickly discovered how much I loved helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. Listening to their stories, understanding their vision, and guiding them toward a piece that marked an important chapter in their lives brought me so much joy!

Over the years, I continued growing in the industry while earning my Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) designation through GIA. While I’m incredibly grateful for that foundation, I felt called to create something more personal. How could I build an experience rooted in trust, transparency, education, and genuine connection?! I wanted to offer elevated quality without the traditional retail markup and create a space where clients felt supported, informed, and truly cared for.

That vision became The Carat Menagerie.

Today, I offer a private diamond concierge experience designed to simplify the jewelry-buying process while making it feel deeply personal. From sourcing exceptional diamonds to creating custom jewelry through trusted U.S.-based craftsmanship, every detail is thoughtfully curated to reflect your vision and story.
